Lip Products | Autumn/Winter Beauty Saviours

When the weather gets colder and we’re well into Autumn, headed into Winter, one thing that I really hate is how dry my skin and how chapped my lips can become. That is unless I combat the dryness with products! I’ve rounded up a few of the best lip products I’ve found to help keep your lips looking luscious during this time of year.

Lush, Bubblegum Lip Scrub

The smell alone is enough to sell you this product, but its also great for scrubbing away all the dead skin and getting your lips back to their original, un-chapped condition.

Dr PawPaw Original Original Balm

I received this last month in a Birchbox. Its a multipurpose balm which I’ve mainly been using on my lips. It doesn’t really have a scent or taste which I love, because I find so many lip products really sickly and horrible. I’ve been applying it every evening and its really helped to keep my lips moisturised.

Lip Products

Burt’s Bees Replenishing Lip Balm

I’ve been using the pomegranate balm, the other varieties are really good too. It has a nice, subtle, unoffencive smell, they’re natural, and they’re an affordable, high-street balm that actually works (don’t get me started on how horrid I find cheap lip products like Lip Smackers!)

Elizabeth Arden 8 Hour Lip Balm

I’m obsessed with this product. I don’t use it on an every day basis because I think that the price tag is a little steep. However its a product that’s really handy to have, you know it will work as soon as you need it! Its really effective and I tend to apply it once a week or so as a more intensive treatment.

Let me know in the comments if you’ve tried any of these products and what you think! Or let me know what other products I should try!

I could not live without having at least 3 tubes of Carmex on the go haha! I’m so tempted to try the Elizabeth Arden, but the price tag puts me off every time!!

    • November 10, 2017 / 9:11 am

Carmex is a good one too! Its definitely worth trying if you do suffer with dry lips, I can’t justify using it all the time but its a life saver when I really need it!x

Burts Bees products are my absolute favourite!

  11. November 10, 2017 / 8:53 pm

I used to be obsessed with the Lush lip scrubs! Especially the bubblegum. I’m sure I used to use too much just because of the taste. I’m not really a fan of the eight hour lip balm but I love using actual eight hour cream as a lip balm. I still haven’t tried the paw paw 🙈

Anything Lush I instantly fall in love with, so I have the same scrub. I haven’t seen PawPaw anywhere so I will have to find it. I love me some Burt’s Bees, it was originally made like 12 miles from me but they moved into a bigger space.

    • November 11, 2017 / 8:31 am

Me too! PawPaw sells in Superdrug if you’re interested! Me too! Ah thats so cool, shame they’re not local anymore, but they’ve done so well!x

Ok I neeeeeed to try the elizabeth arden 8hr cream. I’ve been meaning to buy it for the longest time but the price tag is so much compared to my £2.99 carmel LOL! I have the driest lips ever though so I think I need to give it a go!

I totally understand the price point issue, but it really is so great and I’d definitely recommend it as an intense lip balm for use maybe once a week! (way too expensive to use daily!)x

  24. December 30, 2017 / 11:55 pm

I love Lush lip scrubs, I have the bubblegum and the popcorn. Both equally gorgeous! I can’t say I’ve tried eight hour cream but it’s definitely on my list of products to try. Can’t go wrong with. Burts Bees either!
