Falling for Elemis

Falling for Elemis

There’s nothing that helps me to relax and unwind quite like a Spa day. A little pampering and some much needed time away from the world can work wonders for both mind and body. I recently had an Elemis Spa experience and have since become a huge fan of their skincare.

Aqua Sana Spa Stay Elemis

My Spa Experience

If you read my recent post about our Spa stay at Center Parcs, Aqua Sana, you’ll know just how necessary I find Spa breaks. I find them a wonderful excuse to pause life and come back rejuvenated. Whilst I was at the Spa, I chose to upgrade my treatment to an Elemis Biotec Radiance Renew Facial, a 55 minute treatment which is designed to tackle dull and tired looking skin. To put it bluntly, it’s exactly what I needed at the beginning of a new year! This was my first Biotec treatment using an ultrasonic peel. I was so impressed with its results that I absolutely had to speak about it.

The treatment itself was extremely relaxing. In fact, it was so relaxing that I found myself waking up to the sound of my own snoring. A little embarrassing but I hope the beauty therapist took it as a compliment! The facial itself gave immediate, visible results. I walked into the Aqua Sana with dull, tired looking skin, and walked out glowing. My skin looked so much healthier, hydrated, and brighter.

Elemis Toner

55 minutes is a pretty long treatment. During it, my therapist used a whole range of different products which all felt and smelt incredible. I was eager to read my post treatment review and product recommendations so that I could take something home with me. Although I didn’t feel as though I could justify adding many more products to my overfilling skincare shelves, I did pick up the Elemis Rehydrating Ginseng Toner. I was diagnosed with combination/dehydrated skin, thanks Winter, but since the facial, my skin has definitely thanked me for swapping out my usual Clinique toner. The Elemis toner works just as well as Clinique with regards to removing impurities. The differences are that it feels much more gentle on the skin and smells just like a Spa. The scent is so relaxing and I love using it as part of my evening skin care routine.

My treatment review consisted solely of the Hydrated Glow Cleansing Kit, which contains the toner that I’ve purchased, as well as a Cream Cleanser and Cellular Recovery Skin Bliss Capsules. I’ll definitely be keeping these products in mind for the next time I need a skincare change. Before this treatment I hadn’t had much experience with Elemis as a brand. It certainly hasn’t taken long to fully convert me. I can’t wait to try out more Elemis and will, of course, keep you updated with any recommendations. Until then I’d love to know if you’ve tried any Elemis skincare and your thoughts on it.

Gosh I love a spa day! It’s so tempting to buy the products they offer as they are always such good quality. I’ve never tried Elemis products before, the toner sounds fabulous, I’ll have to keep this one in mind! Thanks for sharing Sophie 😘 xx

I’ve never used Elemis before – in fact, until recently I didn’t realise you could buy their products outside spas or beauty salons (DOH). A friend of mine went to a local spa for an Elemis treatment and came back glowing too so next time she goes I’m going with her! BTW, kudos on getting that shot of you in the bath with bubbly, I’d have dropped my phone, haha! x

I never buy products at the spa, just try and remember what they’ve recommended because they’re usually so much more affordable on Amazon or beauty websites! Haha thank you! x

Spa days are the best! You’re just taken care of, and you’re just destressing. It’s great that you enjoyed your treatment. I’ve been using Clinique toners for a while and definitely need a swap. I like that Elemis doesn’t break the bank. Thanks for sharing 🙂

Never heard of Elemis skincare before, nor have I ever been to a sauna! So you’ve got a complete newbie here, but it sounds amazing! And I can certainly use some glow as the winter-weather also hasn’t been that kind to my skin… 😉

    Love,

A spa day is something I never treat myself to enough! I’m such a busy person too that it’s so rewarding to just relax now and again. I’ll need to pick up some Elemis products so I can try and recreate that ‘Spa’ feeling at home. My sister loves them so I’ll go and browse her collection!

Ohhhh this sounds lush! I really need to give myself a pamper day since this cold weather really dries out my hair and skin. I’ve heard little bits and bobs about Elemis so I think I’ll give their products a go!

My mum swears by Elemis for her skin and always gets my brother to buy her their products for Christmas! The only one I’ve properly tried is the pro-collagen marine cream and I LOVE IT. It smells divine and always makes my skin look so plump and full of life!

Great review. It is always so hard finding something that works well all the time. I’m not surprised you would need something more gentle over the winter months. It sounds like gorgeous product.

Also, good on you for treating yourself!

Ahhh Spa days. I actually work at a Spa so I see people leave in absolute bliss. Ironically for me, I’ve never actually had a proper spa day! I would really love one – especially for facials. I never heard of this brand but I’m soo willing to give it a try. My skin is so dull and dry. I would love to give it a boost. I’ll have to look on where to buy this brand. 🙂
