Skincare | Autumn/Winter Beauty Saviours

The cold wreaks havoc with my skin, in fact, it doesn’t do me much favours in any respect really. I love the seasons but hate the weather that comes with them. I’d be much happier living somewhere where its warm all the time! In any case, I live in Britain, so have a few skincare products which really help keep my skin happy.

L’Oreal Fine Flowers Toner

My usual (Clinique) toner is amazing, but it can be quite drying. When I can feel that my skin is getting fed up with the weather I switch to this one, which is designed for dry and sensitive skin. It feels lovely and silky on application and it’s great for it’s small price tag!

Clinique Moisture Surge Hydrating Water Gel Concentrate

When I first saw this I was pretty confused at what it actually is.. websites imply that its a moisturiser, but when I spoke to the lady at my Clinique counter she said that its actually designed as a moisturiser enhancer. I’d say that its more like a serum in consistency and use, I apply this before my evening moisturiser and it helps it work just that little bit better.

Clinique All About Eyes

One of my biggest skincare problems is the dark circles I get under my eyes, this combined with how dry my under-eye area can get, causes me major issues. I’ve found this to be the only eye cream I’ve tried that both helps reduce the dark circles and moisturises the area. It feels really nice on the skin and is by far the best eye product I’ve used.

Skin Care Products Clinique

Clinique Moisture Surge Extended Thirst Relief

This is hands down the best moisturiser I’ve ever owned. It has a gel like consistency and isn’t at all tacky like most moisturisers. I’m currently on my third tub and cannot stop re-purchasing, it’s easily in my top five skincare products.
Side note: I usually have normal/ combination skin. I’m prone to mild eczema and when the weather gets colder (or I’m stressed) it can flare up under my eyes. This is the only moisturiser (prescribed or over counter) I’ve found that will get rid of the eczema but won’t make my face all greasy and horrible.

No7 Beautiful Skin Hydration Mask

I’m not going to lie, I bought this in store (in a rush) thinking it was an intensive moisturiser. Its not. As the product name clearly states, its a mask. You apply, leave on, and then remove. Even though its purchase was a total accident, I’m so glad I got this product. When used once a week it gives my skin that extra boost of hydration.

I’d love to know if there are any skincare products that you swear by for this time of year?
