Often I find myself so caught up in new releases on Beauty Bay that I neglect to search for great new brands.
Toner has been an integral part of my skincare routine for years. I religiously incorporate it into both morning and evening routines but use different ones for each. Before we go on, I must admit to being a bit of a skincare snob. When it comes to beauty, I typically find that the higher the price, the better it is. That’s why I’m so eager to recommend three affordable toners that don’t break the bank but that do really work.
The Natural Wellness Box is a wellness and beauty service offering a variety of subscription options. A new, themed, collection is released bi-monthly. The boxes include 5-7 full size products: Luxury skincare, supplements and healthy snack products. Everything featured is Vegan and CF which is a lovely bonus for me but particularly amazing news for those who are vegan.
SKN-RG’s ethos is one which I can fully get behind: visible proven results via clean beauty. Their Evolution Alpha serum launches on Monday 1st April, so I’m here to give you a weeks notice in case you wanted to be first in line!

Despite having a rather large collection, the following five are the select few which I reach for over and over again. All of the following score strongly when considering formula, shade and longevity (I’m also a sucker for cute packaging).
The product empties challenge is something I began last year in an attempt to minimise my makeup collection. Although my drawers are still fairly packed, I am slowly but surely whittling them down so that they only feature products I love. Over the past two months I’ve finished off some great products.. and had one that was destined to the bin way before its time.
NEEK Skin Organics, An Introduction
Unless you’re a brand new reader, you may know that over the last few months I’ve been on the hunt for eco-friendly brands. Cue NEEK: an ethical skincare company from Australia, who popped into my e-mails at just the right moment. A brand that I can fully get behind, NEEK utilise natural, active ingredients in their cruelty-free and vegan beauty products. They also post out their recycled and recyclable packaging in plastic-free, compostable satchels. Their environmentally conscious moral stance reflects my own, only upgraded to vegan too. For the last month or so, I’ve been using the following two products. Here’s how I’ve been getting on:
