I don’t mean to begin on a low, but I don’t like January. Christmas is over, the new year pressure is on, and it’s so cold. Luckily, I’ve recently discovered a revolutionary way to make the whole ‘January’ situation not just bearable, but enjoyable!? Its so simple : visit a Spa.
Christmases have such a long, exciting build up. Once Boxing Day is over, I always find it quite a shock to the system to go back to normal. I love spending a day or two after Christmas to have a really good sort out, a new years clean. Beginning a new year fresh and organised is a great feeling. At the end of the year I get rid of anything that I no longer want and make room for all of the lovely new Christmas gifts.
There’s something wonderfully personal and incredibly special about being gifted with a luxury fragrance at Christmastime. You may already know that I’m a high end perfume girl. It’s often at the very top of my gift wish list. For a long while after receiving it, I associate the fragrance with very fond memories. Clive Christian is perfect, as it’s one of the most luxury fragrance brands I can think of and is quite literally fit for royals.
I think its safe to say that Christmas is the most
expensive wonderful time of the year. I absolutely love making Christmas shopping a whole event, spending the day strolling around Norwich, London or Bicester Village, and getting into the spirit by grabbing a festive drink and admiring the lights and decorations.
The cold wreaks havoc with my skin, in fact, it doesn’t do me much favours in any respect really. I love the seasons but hate the weather that comes with them. I’d be much happier living somewhere where its warm all the time! In any case, I live in Britain, so have a few skincare products which really help keep my skin happy.
If you’ve read any of my other Disney posts, you’ll know that I’m a sucker for any themed products! When Mad Beauty launched a Disney beauty line in Boots and Superdrug stores, I had to get involved.
When the weather gets colder and we’re well into Autumn, headed into Winter, one thing that I really hate is how dry my skin and how chapped my lips can become. That is unless I combat the dryness with products! I’ve rounded up a few of the best lip products I’ve found to help keep your lips looking luscious during this time of year.
