Ever since September last year, I’ve been wishing away the cold weather. I’ve been dreaming of the comfortable warmth that we all love, which Spring tends to re-introduce us to. February’s Pink Trucker Jacket purchase encouraged me to dress for Spring far earlier than is typical. Now that its April and I’ve traveled to slightly warmer climates, I’m so happy that I’ve been able to provide my wardrobe with a few new additions. I love creating look books and travel ones in particular, so I knew that as I headed off to Greece I’d love to share my wardrobe. Here’s a look book that’s suitable for Spring, Summer and any holidays to warmer climates! Welcome to the beginning of the better weather, I can’t wait!
Style
Christmas feels like a lifetime ago and I’m so excited for the arrival of Spring. When it comes to fashion, March and April are tricky. They’re the odd in-between months when you’re just not sure whether to stick to your Winter wear or to prematurely crack out the Summer styles. If you’re looking for a staple coat I’d say that Trench style coats are definitely the way to go. They’re by far my favourite type of coat to style. They effortlessly dress up any outfit and work really well for both Winter and Spring. Although my warmest coat is a duffel, my trench coats get the most wear in times requiring both style and an extra layer.
Over the Winter months I find it far too easy to sit myself down into a fashion rut. With no high school Mean Girls kicking me off their table if I’m not wearing pink or following the rules, blacks and greys become go to colours, and chucking on sweaters on a daily basis seems totally acceptable. Sweaters are super cosy and can look great over the colder months, but right now I’m over it. The days are slowly but surely staying lighter for longer, and although Spring still seems so distant, I can’t help but feel hopeful in the knowledge that when it eventually rolls around, it will be brighter and nicer and better.
Although I’m no fan of the cold, Autumn and Winter are great months for cozying down. A sweater is pretty much essential to every outfit and here are the ones I’ve invested in for this seasons ‘sweater weather’. The last look book I featured was definitely for the warmer weather so I thought it was time for another!
You may have already gathered that I’m a sucker for anything Disney. Naturally, I was far too excited when I heard that they were teaming up with Pandora on a range of Disney charms. I’m a little late on the hype but only because I wanted to wait until I had seen the collection in person. I also wanted to make a couple of purchases before I spoke about it.
