For me, fashion is more than just paying attention to the latest trends. It’s about honouring and re-working classic styles as well as celebrating self-expression and cultural diversity. It’s a way of presenting to the rest of the world (whether you like it or not). With its short skirts and cropped tees, recent Western trends show off more than ever before. All of us will sit somewhere on the spectrum of coverage with different comfort levels and tastes. I certainly appreciate sheer blouses, little black dresses and ‘vacation ready‘ high-waisted denim shorts. However, my typical style and comfort level definitely sways more towards more modest fashion .
